The Safeguard High-Level Bed (Nina's Den)

Designed for a child that has no mobility and requires hoisting in and out of bed.

The parent needed to have easy access during her sleep time to reposition her and change her nappy etc; therefore the height of the bed was designed to provide optimum comfort for the parent to reduce the manual handling risk.

The side of the bed folds down flat against the doors to allow full-uninterrupted access. The area below the bed was utilised for that all-important storage.

N.B. no door handles, this avoids the parent knocking against a protrusion. Pushing the door in and then letting it spring open via the internal catches opens the doors.
