OMG, no! - A common reaction when someone hears the term, room padding. It conjures images in the mind of a Victorian asylum - stark & isolating or that it might look a “bit NHS’y”.

The reality though is a million miles from this; rooms can be as bright and individual as the people using them. Padding can be fitted to separate ‘target’ areas, whole rooms or even throughout the entire property & can be as short or tall as needed.

Whether injuries are caused through behaviour or seizures, the ultimate goal of padding is to keep people safe, but that doesn’t mean it has to be boring or ugly!

  • Fire safety

    All of our padding is manufactured to comply with BS 7176 for the resistance to ignition of upholstery when tested in accordance with BS 5852, BS EN 1021-1 or BS EN 1021-2, as appropriate. All top coverings are Crib5.

  • Anti-microbial

    The Sanitized® technology is added directly to all of the high-performance fabrics we use during manufacture, protecting them from bacteria around the clock. This is especially important on surfaces that are frequently contaminated with germs and where ongoing protection between cleaning cycles is indispensable

  • Radiators

    Whether it is to protect from hard edges or to prevent radiators from being pulled from the wall, padded covers can be made to be used in isolation or as part of a safe area. depending on location, covers can be made with an angled top to deter climbing.

    Also available in in a hard (unpadded) variety.

  • Colours

    With a large range of colours available, padded areas can be manufactured to suit any individual tastes.

  • Bathrooms.

    Often overlooked, Bathrooms contain some of the hardest sufaces within a home. Although it’s more difficult to do, protecting someone from fall injury in a Bathroom can make a huge difference to users &c are givers alike.
